Cropping/ Cutting Out Complex Images - Paint Shop Pro (PSP) 7 Tutorial
With this cropping complex images Paint Shop Pro (PSP) tutorial, you can crop(cut out)almost anything, no matter how difficult. This tutorial was written for Paint Shop Pro (PSP), but can probably be used for other versions as well.

Select the freehand selection tool

Zoom

Now copy the image (Ctrl-C), and then paste it (Ctrl-L) onto the background you want. |

You have now just changed the background of an image! Use the eraser to clean it up if you want. Happy Cutting! |

in so you can see what you want to cut, then
single click around the edges until you have
completed the selection, and then double click
to end it. IF you are having troubles with jagged edges, go to selections | Adjust | Contract, and enter "1". Then go to selections | adjust | feather, and enter a value from "1" to "3". You can experiment with these values to get the cleanest edge.
